Maybe Batman really does exist. A man dressed up as Batman dropped off a suspect wanted for burglary in Britain.
Surveillance video footage reportedly showed a potbellied man wearing an ill-fitting Batman costume — including gloves, a cape, and a mask — bringing a 27-year-old man to a police station in northern England.
The 27-year-old suspect was arrested charged with handling stolen goods and fraud-related offenses, but the caped crusader disappeared into the night without leaving a name.
“The person who brought the wanted man into the station was dressed in a full Batman outfit,” a spokeswoman for West Yorkshire Police said. “His identity, however, remains unknown.”
The suspect was brought in on February 25th and is set to appear in court on March 8th.
