R&B crooners Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank formed a supergroup called “TGT” back in 2007, but were unable to make anything of it at the time. But now, 5 years later, they have officially inked a brand new deal with Atlanta Records, and are on a mission to bring back “real R&B.”

“It’s called bringing that real thing back. Real men, real singing, real love,” Tank says in a newly released TGT promo video. “While y’all sleeping, we creeping,” Ginuwine says, while Tyrese — the apparent leader of the trio — nicknames the supergroup “The R&B Avengers.”

“We all are powerful, individually, by ourselves,” said Tyrese. “Put all of our fan [bases] and all of our energy together [and] it’s that much bigger. We’re like the ‘R&B Avengers.'”

TGT is currently in the studio recording their debut album, which will most likely be released sometime in 2013.
