R&B singer Fantasia Barrino has checked out of the hospital and is on the road to recovery.

As we reported earlier, the former American Idol winner was hospitalized Monday night for a medical overdose just days after being accused of being involved in an affair with a married man and a sex tape (both of which she denies). But according to her lawyer Gena Graham Morris, she is doing much better now and will fight through this troublesome time:

“She has a good track record of overcoming adversity. This too will pass.”

Graham also went on to say that Barrino may be expecting a lawsuit sometime in the near future by the woman making all of the allegations…however she wants everyone to know that Fantasia is completely innocent.

“The people who think these claims protect marriages and families have never sat through a trial. They make hurt people more hurt. For the sake of everybody involved. I hope [Fantasia] is not sued because she did not break up the Cooks’ marriage.”

We’re glad Fantasia is alright though… she kinda scared us there for a sec!
