Ellen DeGeneres is recovering well after being treated for chest pains Monday (Sep 26) at the Burbank, California studio where she tapes her daytime talk show “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
Recounting the health scare to her TV audience late Monday, DeGeneres, 53, revealed that she first felt “tightness and heaviness” in her chest Sunday, but waited until Monday morning to call paramedics.
Using her trademark humor, DeGeneres reassured fans she’s doing just fine.

New York City police are searching for a suspect in an anti-gay sex assault and robbery in Brooklyn.
Police say the 24-year-old victim was approached by a man who pretended to have a gun on Myrtle Avenue on Sept. 5. The suspect robbed his cell phone and asked about his sexual orientation.
Police say the suspect berated the victim with anti-gay slurs– and then sexually assaulted him.
The victim was taken to Woodhull Medical Center in stable condition.
The suspect was identified as 21-year-old Julius Wright, also known as “Stinky.”

Willow Smith is almost done with her debut solo album, according to producer Ronald “Jukebox” Jackson, who produced the 10-year-old’s platinum selling 2010 hit single “Whip My Hair.”
“I did like eight, nine songs on [Smith’s debut] Willow, so right now, we’re in the process of just trying to close out the album,” Jackson revealed to MTV News, explaining that the label didn’t want to rush Smith after her initial success. “It’s just the whole process. You’ve got to think about it: she’s a 10-year-old girl. She’s gotta have a life, she’s gotta be a kid.”
