New music from … Uh, when is Diddy Sean John gonna give these guys a damn name! He should do a contest where the fans choose and maybe design a logo for them … that would be hot! Any who, I got some new music from the guys of Making the Band 4, the name of the song is “Got Me Going”. This is definitely a Mario Winans’ production! I think I got my producers down pack, LOL! I like this song! It will be an awesome dance-record for the club.

Erykah Badu – “The Healer”
Let me tell YOU! Erykah Badu has a way of killing it in the most subtle way possible, it truly is indescribable. Now I can not wait for “New Amerykah”! I think I understand the whole concept behind the album but, really, it is too soon to tell. But with this … this right here! I’m completely … speechless.

Flo-Rida F/ Timbaland – “Elevator”
Thanks so much to the Regulator Blog (via Chris) for this! I been waitin’ – in Riley Freeman voice – if Atlantic doesn’t release this their nuts! LOL. “Elevator,” hopefully, is the next single from fellow “Miamian,” Flo Rida – and it features Timbaland. He also produced this song! I know, instant hit. What-what! Flo Rida’s debut Mail on Sunday (Atlantic) drops March 18th and features the smash hit “Low” featuring T-Pain.

Reality TV: Make Me a Supermodel
Make Me a Supermodel is a reality television series hosted by former supermodels Tyson Beckford and Niki Taylor on the cable network Bravo. The show, of course, not to be confused with the U.K.’s Make Me a Supermodel, officially premiered on January 10, 2008, prior to the model’s audition which aired on January 2. Each week the following contestants compete against each other in the hopes of becoming the next supermodel, viewers are ask to vote (via text messaging or Internet) for the two models who they think should stay in the competition and be voted out of the bottom 3. The season started with 14 contestants, 3 episodes have aired, the show is now down to 12. One will be sent home on next week’s episode, Thursday.
So far the models have done 3 cumbersome challenges including, posing on a platform; in the cold, in Times Square, hanging in the air whilst getting their pictures taken, and doing a sexy shoot based on chemistry. This was especially a task, as well as a uncompromising position, for four of the models, seeing how they had to do same-sex poses with each other.
Some would refer to Make Me a Supermodel as Top Model meets Project Runway, that’s what I thought really, but it’s not. I really like the show because it’s less “gimmicky,” if you will, and includes men. New Flavor Flav Promo for “Flavor of Love 3”
Like it or not, Flavor of Love 3 is coming … and soon. Maybe not next week, or even the week after. But on Monday, February 11th 2008, your living rooms, bedrooms, whatever, will be invaded by the mug of the creature above. Hide the children. Flavor Flav is back! Will I be watching? Hell yeah. Will I hate myself later for wasting approximately 10 – 12 hours of my life, over the span of the entire season? Probably.
Busta Rhymes Sentenced to Probation
AP is reporting that rapper Busta Rhymes was sentenced by a Manhattan judge to three years’ probation and 10 days of community service Wednesday for assaulting his former driver and a fan. The 35-year-old rapper was also fined $1,250, in addition to court costs, for driving with a suspended license AND under the influence. He pleaded guilty to the charges – related to four separate incidents – in Manhattan Criminal Court. Rhymes, whose real name is Trevor Smith, must also enroll in a DWI program.
“I just want to say that I’m very grateful to the judge, and I’m very grateful to the system. I believe in the system,” Rhymes said as he left court.

Lil Wayne Arrested in Arizona! And it’s Drug-Related … Again

Lil Wayne was arrested on not one, not even two, but THREE felony drug charges earlier today (January 23rd) after federal agents said they found illegal drugs, including cocaine, on his charter bus at a checkpoint in southwestern Arizona, AP is reporting. Cocaine Weezy? Oh really?? The rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., spent the day at the Yuma County jail before being released, Capt. Eben Bratcher said. After posting more than $10,000 bond, the rapper signed autographs for fans outside a bondsman’s office.
James Tilson, a local lawyer retained by Carter, said that his client was not formally charged and that his next court date was scheduled for Friday, January 25th.
“We will find out by January 25th whether or not the [Yuma] county attorney will file charges or not,” Tilson said. “He is looking forward to his day in court. That’s all I can say right now.”
The 25-year-old rapper faces charges of possession of dangerous drugs, narcotics and drug paraphernalia. Weezy’s bus was stopped at approximately 11:30 P.M. Tuesday night at a Border Patrol checkpoint near Dateland, Arizona, which is about 78 miles east of Yuma, Capt. Bratcher said. A Border Patrol dog alerted agents to the presence of illegal drugs on the bus, said Drug Enforcement Administration spokeswoman Ramona Sanchez. After they searched the bus, they found nearly 4 ounces of marijuana and just over an ounce of cocaine, as well as drug paraphernalia. DEA agents then arrested Carter, who was traveling with 11 others.
Officials also found a .40-caliber pistol registered to Carter, who has a concealed weapons permit in Florida. Authorities are looking into whether he violated any weapons laws in Arizona. Two other men were arrested with him, and they each face a charge of possession of marijuana.
Please don’t tell me one of my favorite rappers is a cokehead. One is already on house arrest ’til God knows when. WTF is up with these fools? Oh, and if you’re wondering, something like this has happened before! SMH…

Charm School Season 2 Coming Soon; Jamie Foxx Rumored to Host
I knew you had an idea this was coming … another VH1 reality show! I Love New York 2 just wrapped, Flavor of Love 3 premieres in February, and Rock of Love 2 premiered this week. So that leaves another popular VH1 show sitting in limbo, and that’s Charm School! Season 2 of the show, which will begin recording next month in Los Angeles, will feature 15 of the most unfit, rowdy, and crazy contestants from the 1st 2 seasons of the #1 rated VH1 show, “I Love New York” which is a spin off of “Flavor of Love”. The rumored (but unconfirmed) host of this show is said to be Jamie Foxx. In a total of 11 edited episodes, Jamie will attempt to turn these wild “New York” boys into positive strong gentlemen. The overall winner will receive a $50,000 grand prize, much like season one’s winner, Saaphyri.
The show is set to tape in the same Charm School mansion (and the same damn mansion they use for Flavor of Love, Rock of Love, AND I Love New York) as 1st season. Confirmed contestants include Mr. Boston, Chance, Heat, Buddah, Wolf, Midget Mac, Tango, Trendz, and Mr. Wise. Charm School 2: From Gs to Gents (The NY Boys) is set to start airing in June.
