I was just browsing some blogs online when I happen to come across Kanye‘s latest entry, from his blog, which appears to be a retort to Entertainment Weekly‘s tour write-up for Glow In The Dark; they gave it a B+ and apparently it looks like Kanye had some erhm … “colorful” choice of words in regard:

Yo, anybody that’s not a fan; don’t come to my show. For what?! To try and throw ya’ll two cents in? Ya’ll rated my album shitty and now ya’ll come to the show and give it a B+. What’s a B+ mean? I’m an extremist. It’s either pass or fail! A+ or F-! You know what, fuck you and the whole fucking staff!!! I know I shouldn’t dignify this with a comment, but the reviewer threw a jab at all the artists. I just wanna know when was the last time you enjoyed yourself. If you can’t have fun and lose yourself at this tour it’s a good chance you’re a very miserable person. I actually feel sorry for you guys. Your job forces you to not have fun anymore. Grab a drink, holla at some nice girls, and party bitch!! You don’t know shit about passion and art. You’ll never gain credibility at this rate. You’re fucking trash! I make art. You can’t rate this. I’m a real person. I’m not a pop star. I don’t care about anything but making great art. Never come 2 one of my shows ever again, you’re not invited and if you see me…BOW!! [me: Flawless.] This is not pop, it’s pop art!

And that is why I love him! For some reason I don’t think ANY ONE likes Entertainment Weekly that much. Hmm … I wonder why that could be? Lol!

â™« Album Review: Lil’ Mama – VYP: “Voice Of The Young People”

Rapper Lil’ Mama has just released her new debut album, VYP: Voice Of The Young People (Jive/Zomba). Lil’ Mama first stepped on the scene with the fresh sound of her first single, “Lip Gloss” but don’t doubt her lyrical skills. She gave us samples of this album with singles like, G-Slide (Tour Bus), Girlfriend (Dr. Luke Remix), and Shawty Get Loose featuring Chris Brown & T-Pain.

She listed some of her musical influences was artists like Jay-Z, Tupac Shakur, Notorious B.I.G., Chuck D., OutKast, and even BeyoncÃ©. You can hear some of the influences in tracks like, Make It Hot (Put It Down), L.I.F.E., and One Hit Wonder. Lil’ Mama collaborated with some of the hottest producers of our time.

She has worked with Swizz Beatz, T-Pain, Cool & Dre, Scott Storch, and The Runners. This is a solid debut album from Lil’ Mama and I definitely want to hear and see more of her. VYP: Voice Of The Young People in stores now!!!

Game 6: Cleveland Cavaliers Vs. Washington Wizards

Cavaliers Win Game 6

The Cleveland Cavaliers take the victory of the series against the Washington Wizards in the sixth game (4-2). LeBron James scoring his 3rd-career playoffs’ triple-double in game 6 with 27 points, 13 rebounds beating the Wizards’ by 17 (105-88). The Cavs has had a great season and now they’re advancing closer to the Finals. Cavaliers’ teammate Zydrunas Ilgauskas added 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. LeBron was happy to see his team coming closer to the Finals stated at the end of Game 6:

“Cleveland is advancing. We won the series 4-2. That speaks louder than me saying anything about the fans here, anything about DeShawn Stevenson ,” James said, referring back to when he called him “overrated”. “Cleveland is advancing. That’s all that matters.”

How about Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey really got married! I didn’t post this “breaking news” story until I could round up as many credible sources as I could. I’m tired of these celebrities pulling these publicity stunts just to see what type of reaction they can get out of the media. I didn’t even know these two were seriously dating. I mean, there have been rumors swirling about for the past couple of months, but wow … marriage? Hell, I didn’t even know they were friends! Not once have I even seen them in a photo together…

And if that weren’t enough to make your eyes go O_O, I’m hearing that Little Nicky used the same damn engagement ring that he used to ask for Selita Ebanks‘ hand in marriage. Boy, you so cheap! Dallas Mavericks Coach Avery Johnson Gets Fired!

After only four years of coaching, Dallas Mavericks coach, Avery Johnson was fired Wednesday (Apr. 30th). Johnson is of course not “cool” about losing his job, but does understand that this is a part of his career. This is what the former Mavs coach had to say:

“When that happens, then sometimes you need a new voice,” Johnson said, “During the course of some games, I wasn’t getting that response. This particular team, especially in the last quarter of the season, last half of the season, just wasn’t responding the way I needed it to.

“I’m not necessarily cool about this, but what am I supposed to do? My life has to continue. This is a part of coaching. Coaches, we’re going to resign or get fired.”

Johnson bowed out gracefully and had a good few years coaching the Mavericks, and I wish him good luck with the rest of his career.

The Boston Celtics take the win at home leading the series now (3-2). Blowing the Atlanta Hawks out by a 30-point win (110-85). Kevin Garnett had 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 7 assists. Ray Allen had 19 points. Paul Pierce had 22 points and 6 assists. Boston Celtics’ coach Doc Rivers is proud of the win at home but is still second-guessing the Celtics in the upcoming game in ATL:

â€œWe still havenâ€™t won a road game, guys,â€ Rivers said. â€œWe have to do it again. We have to do it on the road now. We have to go in there and play like tonight.â€

In an attempt to raise money for the organization “Divest for Darfur” and awareness of the ongoing genocide in Darfur Danish artist Nadia Plesner created this image of a young African boy holding a Louis Vuitton handbag in one hand and a small chihuahua in the other. Apparently Louis Vuitton was not too fond with the design and have responded with a lawsuit demanding $20K per day in damages for copyright infringement and for Plesner to stop producing the image on shirts and posters.
