Kanye West Says MTV EMAs were Fixed

Rapper Kanye West is alleging that the 2008 MTV Europe Music Awards in Liverpool, UK were fixed. He claims that the only reason he won the “Ultimate Urban” award over friend Lil Wayne just because “he was there,” suggesting that he didn’t even deserve to win that award. He also questioned Britney Spears’ win over Rihanna for “Act of 2008.”

“I won nothing last year and I’d brought out ‘Stronger’,” he told The Sun. “This year, just because I was there, I won. This was Lil’ Wayne’s year … Britney Spears over Rihanna? Are you serious?”

Hey, at least he didn’t jump on stage this time and snatch someone else’s award out of their hand and yell “mines!”

J Record’s recording artist Jamie Foxx has been working on his junior effort. Currently, the album is untitled and several tracks have surfaced. The most recent that has surfaced is, “Baby Baby, Damn.” Foxx, delivers a hot steamy filler. This is all my opinion. I don’t really see this track being a single. It’s defiantly just a decent filler track. Hell, it might not even be on the album? Who knows. Regardless, I did enjoy Jamie’s sophomore effort, “Unpredictable.” What do you think?

Rapper Trick Trick Doesn’t Want Gay People to Buy his Album

If you thought what Yung Berg said about “dark butts” was bad, wait until you find out what rapper Trick Trick said about gay people! In an exclusive statement to hip-hop website All Hip Hop, the chain-snatching rapper (he snatched Yung Berg’s ish, remember?) had the following to say:

“I’ma go on the record right now with this. Homosexuals are probably not gonna like this album,” Trick revealed to AllHipHop.com. “I don’t want your f**got money any goddamn way. I don’t like it [homosexuality]. Carry that s**t somewhere else.”

But why exactly does he feel this way?

“…Every time that you turn on the TV, that sissy s**t is on,” Trick told AllHipHop.com. “And they act like its f**king okay. The world is changing for the worst when s**t like that happens. And I address that issue. I address it hard as hell.”

Suge Knight Suing Kanye West

Death Row co-founder Suge Knight is apparently suing our boy Kanye West! According to our friends over at TMZ, Marion (Suge’s government name) is suing Kanye over a diamond earring he lost at a party hosted by the “Love Lockdown” singer about 3 years ago. The broke mogul is alleging Yeezy allowed someone to sneak a gun past security at a pre-MTV VMA party at The Shore Club in Miami about 3 years ago, where a still unknown person shot old Suge in the right leg, shattering it.

Suge filed a lawsuit earlier today in a Los Angeles court claiming that he lost his 15-carat $135,000 diamond stud earring inside the club during the shooting incident. And guess who he’s placing the blame on? Let me give you a hint. Not himself! But that’s not all, the story gets even more ridiculous. In addition to medical bills, and the cost of the earring, Suge Knight claims he was injured so badly that he had to take a PRIVATE jet back to Miami, because first class on a commercial airline would have just been too much for his poor heart.

So now Suge, who coincidentally recently filed for bankruptcy, wants to be reimbursed for the earring, the medical bills, and the cost of the private jet. But our question is since when does Suge Knight sue people? I thought he was one of those “shoot first, ask questions later” type of people. Has he found Jesus?

The official album cover for legendary R&B singer Whitney Houston‘s latest release, Undefeated, has hit the internet. After becoming the butt of every joke involving a crackhead, does she still have the “it” factor to make this new release succesful? Let us know what you think about the cover in the comments!

UPDATE: We just got word that the picture at the top of this post is not an official album cover for Whitney Houston’s new album. I’m not even sure if they’ve given her new release a name yet. And if you questioned the look of the album, then your suspicions were correct because it is the product of a job done in Photoshop. Apparently a fan at a Whitney Houston fansite made this cover … and did a pretty damn good job! But we here at Gossip On This are here to tell you that it’s fake. We’re about a week late on this, but it appears as if Denver Nugget Carmelo Anthony cut his hair because he lost a bet. Home boy got rid of the cornrow look and went for a short “Caesar-styled” haircut over a game of NBA Live 2009. Watch the video above.

But is it just me or does something about this seem … “staged?” This just seems like the sort of thing people with money do when they’re bored!

Rapper turned singer, T-Pain is back with another classic Hip Hop album, THR33 RINGZ, which hits stores today – November 11th. The vocoder crooner is back with more hits and music galore on his third album, with featured guests Ciara, Kanye West, DJ Khaled, Chris Brown, Lil’ Wayne, Musiq Soulchild, T.I. and Ludacris. I personally didn’t expect a solid album from T-Pain just using an auto-tuner but it works with him.

I feel no one can use the vocoder or vocalizer like him. With tracks like “Blowing Up“ featuring Ciara, “Therapy” featuring Kanye West, “It Ain’t Me“ featuring T.I. and Akon, it’s possible that any track on the album is potentially a hit single. Aside from his singles, “Can’t Believe It“ featuring Lil’ Wayne, “Chopped & Skrewed“ featuring Ludacris, and “Freeze“ featuring Chris Brown, you can smoothly flow into the album with a nice transition. You can truly listen to each song on the album without a skip besides the skits.

Seeing as Cassie used MySpace to jumpstart her career as a music artist, it’s only right that she uses it as an outlet to dispell any rumors going on about her. Recently, a rumor started circulating the blogosphere claiming that Cassie was scrapping her second album, after already releasing a single. Well, according to the “singer” … you can just scrap that idea itself, because it’s not true. She released a blog within 24 hours saying the following:

Rihanna’s 2007, effort “Good Girl Gone Bad,” was the epitome of a pop album, and it’ll be Rihanna’s hardest effort to beat.  Def Jam has tons of songwriters, and producers sending tons of their best material in hopes of being hand picked from the many for this album. And, with all the chaos and commotion of who’s sending in what.  One of the demos have leaked.  It’s titled, “Bitch, I’m Special.“ The song is complete and utter fire.  The demo singer brings the track to life allowing you to hear that this track was specifically made for Rihanna.  I hope the label still considers this track even though the track has surfaced.  What do you think?
