Okay we’ve already posted about Beyonce once today, but she’s featured on the cover of the latest issue of JET Magazine. And yes, this is Beyonce and not her alter-ego Sasha Fierce. We know the difference.

Ten-time Grammy winner Beyoncé Knowles isn’t holding back these days. With the success of her latest hit, Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It), and the Oscar buzz surrounding her role as Etta James in Cadillac Records, this talented diva is making bold moves as she unveils her “true” self. “Sasha is my alter ego. She is the one who is on stage, fearless and bold. She does the up-tempo songs and the powerful dances,” she said. “My fans expect her at my concert so I wanted to give them what they wanted, while showing my true self.” (p. 42)

Beyonce is not only dominating this year with the introduction of her alter-ego Sasha but she will also be covering the January 2009 issue of Elle Magazine. In this issue Beyonce compares her attitude and mood swing to her character Etta James in her new starring film Cadillac Records.

“I feel like you get more bees with honey. But that doesn’t mean I don’t get frustrated in my life,” Beyonce continued, “My way of dealing with frustration is to shut down and to think and speak logically. But playing Etta was a time when I didn’t have to do that. I could be loud and let it rip.”
