UPDATE: PnB Rock Dead at 30, Shot & Killed During Robbery at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in Los Angeles

PNB Rock was shot in Los Angeles Monday afternoon (Sep. 12) in what is being described as a “robbery turned badly,” according to social media reports.

Details are extremely scarce at the moment, but there’s a graphic video circulating on Instagram and Twitter that appears to show the 30-year-old rapper/singer lying on the ground in a pool of his own blood.

The footage shows a man believed to be PNB Rock, whose real name is Rakim Hasheem Allen, struggling to move his arms and legs as bystanders frantically try to help him.

TMZ reports that PNB Rock was shot while dining with his girlfriend at a Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles restaurant in the Inglewood area of Los Angeles. Police responded to reports of shots fired around 1:23 p.m. PT.

Details regarding the shooter are unknown, but PNB’s girlfriend Steph posted a photo of their meal on Instagram.

A source connected to the restaurant said that PNB was likely targeted in the shooting because no one else was shot or assaulted. The source added that it appeared as though the shooter took PNB’s jewelry and fled the scene.

Prior to the shooting, PNB posted a video of himself on IG wearing several diamond/silver chains.

He was rushed to the hospital in critical condition, and was later pronounced dead. He was 30 years old.
