Toya Wright is ready to walk down the aisle again. She has confirmed that she just got engaged to her boyfriend Robert “Red” Rushing.
The reality star made the exciting announcement in an Instagram post on Tuesday night (Nov. 26).
“Yes! Yes! And Yes! For humbling my spirit, for restoring my faith in love, for raising the bar, for being all of what a man should be. For each of these and more I SAY YES! looking forward to forever with you.”
Toya and Rushing, an Atlanta-based sports manager, began dating in 2017 and welcomed their daughter, Reign Rushing, in 2018.
The newly engaged couple also share a house together in Atlanta and have also launched a business together—a weight loss program and product line called Weight No More.
Toya’s daughter with Lil Wayne, Reginae Carter was ecstatic to learn of her mother’s engagement. In an Ingram Live session, she celebrated with her little sister by cheering with joy and dancing.
“She gettin’ married,” Reginae said as Toya came into frame flashing her ring.
Earlier this year, Wright expressed some hesitation in getting married for a third time.
“I’m ready to open my heart to Red,” Toya said during an episode of T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle. “It’s scary, but I also know it can be good. And with Red, I know it will.”
This will be Toya’s third marriage. She was previously married to high school sweetheart Lil Wayne (2004-06) and music producer Memphitz Wright (2011-15).
