Fantasia was one of the many artists who took the stage Sunday night (Jun. 23) at the 2019 BET Awards, and she brought the house down with a soul performance of her new single “Enough” from her upcoming album Sketchbook.

She dedicated the performance to her brother, who was critically injured in a near-fatal motorcycle crash in 2017 and has made great strides in his recovery.

“My little brother, who got into an accident not too long ago, he’ll be walking soon,” Fantasia shared with ET’s Kevin Frasier on the red carpet ahead of the show. “He had his last surgery, and I believe this is when he’ll get up and walk, so I’m dedicating my performance to him tonight.”

“I think [it’ll make me emotional],” she added. “And it’s going to make me sang. Not sing, but sang.”

And that’s exactly what ‘Tasia did, too!

For the performance’s climax, her guitarist joined her at center stage and dropped to her knees as Fantasia continued to belt the song’s lyrics.
