Imagine Dragons
Imagine Dragons is set to release their third studio album Evolve in June, and though it isn’t known which single from the project they’ll perform tonight, we do know they will dedicate their performance to the late rocker Chris Cornell, who hanged himself Thursday (May 18).
A spokesman for Dick Clark Productions, the producers for the Billboard Music Awards, told the Associated Press that the rock band will talk about how the “Soundgarden” and “Audioslave” singer influenced them before they hit the stage at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Jason Derulo
It has been confirmed that Jason Derulo will join show opener Nicki Minaj for a performance of their new single “Swalla,” which also features rapper/singer Ty Dolla $ign (though it hasn’t been confirmed whether or not he’ll be on stage).
John Legend
According to Billboard.com, John Legend will take the stage with Florida Georgia Line for a collaborative performance of his latest single “Surefire” and FGL’s hit single “H.O.LY.”
