Ryan Destiny as Alexandra Crane
Ryan Destiny plays Alexandra Crane, a friend Star made over Instagram. As the daughter of musician Roland Crane, Alexandra lives a pretty privileged life (she sings backup for her dad), but she doesn’t mind giving all of that up for her own dreams.
Destiny previously held a recurring role in the AMC series Low Winter Sun and also appeared in The Wannabes Starring Savvy, which aired overseas on ABC and HBO Family and here in the U.S. on Starz Kids & Family. She also starred in the 2015 independent film A Girl Like Grace along with Garcelle Beauvais, Paige Hurd, Raven-Symone and Megan Good. For her performance in the movie, she earned a Nollywood and African Film Critics’ Award (NAFCA) nomination for Best Lead Actress.
Destiny, who resides in Detroit, Michigan, where she was born and raised, is also a former member of the pop music trio Love Dollhouse and is currently working on a solo project.
