As one of the OGs of the Basketball Wives reality TV franchise, Evelyn Lozada will always hold a certain level of caché and prestige with the ratchet reality TV crowd.
But Evelyn, who’s busy being an actual “housewife” and mother these days, is looking forward and not backward when it comes to her TV career. While sitting down with Marc Lamont Hill on VH1 Live!, Evelyn was asked if she’d ever consider joining the cast of Basketball Wives L.A., which would reunite her with her BBW Miami castmates Tami Roman and Shaunie O’Neal.
“If they, no shade to the ladies, maybe if they changed half the cast, maybe I’ll make another appearance,” said Lozada.
Well, damn. I wonder if the “half” Lozada is referring to is the half that rocks bonnets and wicked wigs (read: Tami Roman).
The real tea though is that with Jackie Christie holding down the fort on BBWLA, we don’t even need a damn Evelyn anyway. So while she’s throwing shade at the BBWLA cast, the real gag is that she herself has become, in her own famous words, essentially a non-motherf**kin’ factor.
