Lady Gaga answered fan questions about her forthcoming album ARTPOP in a new interview with KISS FM UK radio. She wasn’t exactly detailed in her answering, but she did leave little nuggets here and there.
For those wondering whether or not there is indeed a sequel to her track “Telephone,” the pop star said that there was and that the continuation “is surely coming.”
She added, “I am very excited to be filming it and doing it. Working with Jonas Akerlund for ‘Paparazzi’ as well as the ‘Telephone’ video was such an incredible experience and to finish this trilogy will be great…We’ve already written it, it’s gonna be fantastic, I can’t wait.”
What isn’t coming anytime soon, though, is her recent collaboration with Azealia Banks. Banks teased of working with Gaga not so long ago — with Gaga herself fanning the flames by tweeting her back and forth. However, the song won’t make the album and that pretty much pisses me off. Oh well, maybe it’ll make Azealia’s album. That is, whenever that drops.
As for Gaga’s MTV VMA performance this weekend, she said, “It is the most physically challenging performance I’ve done, ever. And it is so beautiful, it is so indicative of me as an artist, the performance is like a giant metaphor for me.”
And next year, you can anticipate her Terry Richardson directed documentary. I can only imagine the pretentiousness and lengthy discussions about all things celebrity that awaits us in 2014. But don’t trip: I’ll definitely watch it, and you probably will too.
Oh, and Lady Gaga hates cats. My girl.
