“The Game” is back for its sixth season, and BET has released the new promotional photos showing off the newly revamped cast.
In the sixth season of “The Game,” Wendy Raquel Robinson returns as the feisty, sharp-mouthed Tasha Mack, while Hosea Chanchez reprises his role as the self-centered, narcissistic Malik Wright, and Coby Bell and Brandy are back as the “happily married” couple Jason and Chardonnay Pitts.
Noticeably absent from the new promo shots are Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Pooch Hall (Melanie and Derwin Davis), but we all knew they weren’t coming back for the new season, as their story was basically written off on the last episode of Season 5 when Melanie went off to finish med school and Derwin went after her.
According to the synopsis for the Season 6 premiere episode, Derwin gets traded on Premiere Draft Day, and newcomer Bryce “The Blueprint” Westbrook (played by Jay Ellis) steps in to fill his place. Also new to the cast is Lauren London, who plays Bryce’s love interest Keira Whitaker.
