Justin Bieber collapsed backstage today while performing at the O2 arena in London after experiencing breathing problems.
According to sources at the arena, Bieber told the crowd that he wasn’t feeling well and went backstage for a few minutes to get checked out. When he got backstage he collapsed and was taken into a back room to receive oxygen.
“He got oxygen from emergency personnel,” his rep told E! News. “He insisted on finishing the show. He is on the way to the hospital right now.”
Video from the concert shows Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun telling the crowd: “Justin’s got very light breath. The whole show he’s been complaining. He’s backstage with the EMTs and the doctor.”
Justin returned to the stage 10 minutes later against doctor’s orders saying, “had to finish the show for his fans.”
Bieber did finish out the show and received a standing ovation for it, but was taken to the hospital afterwards where doctors are evaluating him. He is said to be feeling better.
