In past years, the academy hasn’t always been spot on about who and what movies they gave awards to, but this year they got it just right. Christoph Waltz took home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor in ‘Django Unchained,’ Anne Hathaway won Best Supporting Actress for ‘Les Miserables,’ Jennifer Lawrence won Best Actress for ‘Silver Linings Playbook,’ Daniel Day-Lewis made history when he won Best Actor for ‘Lincoln,’ becoming the first actor to win the prestigious award three times. And Ben Affleck‘s movie ‘Argo’ won for Best Picture.
