The feud between the Barbz and the Lambs is still picking up heat.
Barbara Walters stirred the pot just a little bit when she announced on “The View” that she’d had a call with Mariah. According to Barbara, Mariah insists that Nicki threatened her life, saying various “American Idol” staff overheard Nicki talk about shooting Mariah if she had a gun.
Nigel Lythgoe, producer of “Idol,” told TMZ that Mariah’s death threat claims were nothing but rubbish that her people were using to gas her up. Guess Nigel’s more of a Barb than a Lamb, huh?

If Nicki’s right about one thing, it’s that the feigned fear Mariah has for her safety is overblown and a desperate attempt to drum up sympathy.

The two divas were scheduled to meet today for an “Idol” photo shoot with the rest of the judges and according to Nicki’s Twitter account, everything went smoothly.
