Stevie Wonder and his wife have been separated for nearly three years, and now the music legend has reportedly made their split official.
According to TMZ, Stevie Wonder — whose real name is Stevland Hardaway Morris — recently filed for divorce from his wife Kai Millard Morris, citing irreconcilable differences as the reason for ending their marriage.
Stevie is asking for joint custody of the couple’s two sons Kailand (10) and Mandla (7), and has agreed to pay spousal as well as child support.
Stevie Wonder and Kai Morris — who wed in September 2001 — have been separated since 2009. Stevie was once married before, to Motown singer Syreeta Wright, between the years of 1970 and 1972.
