Bret Michaels and his fiancee/baby mama Kristi Gibson have reportedly decided to call off their engagement. But don’t worry, they’re still friends.
“Although the couple have separated they remain great friends and are committed to jointly raising their two daughters,” a representative for Bret told People.
Scratch that … They’re GREAT friends!
The Poison frontman proposed to his longtime in late 2010 on his VH1 reality show “Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It,” capping off a then 16-year relationship with the mother of his two children (12-year-old Raine Elizabeth and 7-year-old Jorja Bleu).
Gibson has been by Michael’s side through through a variety of serious ailments over the years, including an emergency appendectomy, a near-fatal brain hemorrhage, a stroke and an operation to close a hole in his heart.
