Kristin Cavallari is the latest celebrity to be eliminated from ABC’s hit dance competition show “Dancing with the Stars.”
The former MTV reality star and her dance partner Mark Ballas were sent packing last night, despite them scoring a 24 Monday night for their samba routine, a personal best for the pair.
After several boos from the audience following the shocking elimination, Kristin said, “I’m a little surprised to be honest, but I’ve had such a great time and it’s been an awesome experience, so it is what it is.”
Host Tom Bergeron also chimed in with some encouraging words for Kristin and Mark, saying, “My sense is … you did so well, the judges loved you, the audience loved you and my guess is people said ‘Oh they’re fine’ and might not have voted.”
Even though last night was disappointing for Kristin, at least she has the arms of her on-and-off boyfriend Jay Cutler to fall into.
After calling off their engagement this past July, Cavallari and Cutler are reportedly back together! The pair were spotted holding hands Tuesday morning in Los Angeles and Cutler was in the crowd Monday night cheering his girlfriend on as she did her last dance.
