Never mind watching the throne … because Kanye West and Jay Z are still sitting on theirs!
The rappers have secured the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart for the second week in a row with their collaborative album “Watch the Throne.”
According to Nielsen Soundscan, after pushing 436K in first week sales, they managed to push another 177K this week, taking their total to 613k copies sold within two weeks of their debut, which means that the album is now certified Gold.
And once again, they are still sitting pretty at the top of the iTunes chart.
Now that’s how a record is sold!
