Alicia Keys is loving marriage with Swizz Beatz!
The 31 year-old singer admitted to PEOPLE magazine that she enjoys their friendship. “It’s so fly. There’s something great about feeling at peace and ease with your partner and knowing you understand each other. I really enjoy that friendship,” she says.
Besides their music backgrounds, Keys says she can find many similarities between her and producer hubby Swizz. He even helps her pick out outfits for special events.
“There are so many similarities between us, it’s just mind-blowing. It’s really cool to have met my equal. I can say, ‘I’m not sure about this look for the BET Awards. What do you think?’ and I know that he will honestly tell me exactly what’s up.”
The happy couple so far appear to be a perfect match with their son Egypt, who was born last fall. Alicia still remembers their wedding as being one of the best days of her life.
“When I walked down [the aisle] and saw him, I could barely hold myself together. It was so beautiful – just about he and I and our love. The wedding was one of the best days of my life.”
