Celebrating Black music and African American Culture, the 2011 Essence Music Festival in New Orleans was the place to be this past weekend!
It was a star studded event and the likes of headlining acts Kanye West, Usher and Mary J Blige, along with R&B singer Trey Songz, who all hit the stage to perform hit after hit. Other acts included New Edition, MC Lyte, Kelly Price, Jill Scott, Charlie Wilson and George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic. (What a hot ticket!)
