The numbers are in  …. and it’s clear that Beyonce still runs the world!

The R&B/Pop diva has scored her fourth #1 solo album with “4,” which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart this week with 310,000 copies sold.

Though selling 300K copies of an album in one week these days is quite impressive … this makes the lowest debut in Beyonce’s entire solo career. Her debut solo album “Dangerously In Love” (released in 2003) sold 317K its first week out, while her 2006 album “B’Day” sold 514K. And in 2008, her “I Am…Sasha Fierce” album debuted at #1 with 482K copies sold.

Even though “4” turned out to be Beyonce’s lowest debut, the fact that she was able to sell over 300K units despite having any major buzz surrounding her release (and no hit singles) should definitely be celebrated.

The album’s first single “Run the World (Girls)” is currently at #35 on the Hot 100 … while her latest single “Best Thing I Never Had” is sitting near the bottom at #85. “4” also marks the third-largest sales week of the year, after Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way” (1.1M) and Adele’s “21” (351K).

Also arriving in the top 10 this week is G.O.O.D Music rapper Big Sean‘s debut album “Finally Famous,” which comes in at #3 with 87K units sold and Selena Gomez & the Scene‘s third album “When the Sun Goes Down,” which debuted at #4 on the 200 chart with 78K copies sold. Adele’s “21” moved 90K units this week, landing it in the #2 spot just above Big Sean.
