Justin Bieber is a real trooper!
After falling ill while performing a concert in the Philippines Tuesday night (May 10), the Pop star insisted that the show must go on.
The “Baby” singer was reportedly diagnosed with a severe chest infection and was advised to either cut his show in half or cancel it altogether. But Justin, who had originally agreed to an abbreviated show, refused to let his fans down once he hit the stage and ended up performing the full concert.
Before the show, Bieber tweeted to his fans: “sick as a dog…but the show must go on. got called a trooper. lol.”
The young performer fought through his entire 90-minute set, vomiting in between songs and everything, and after the concert, he tweeted: “that show was great but tough. real sick. time to rest. #muchlove #wegohard.”
This isn’t the first time Justin has had to deal with issues on stage. Just last week, he was pelted with eggs in the middle of a concert in Sydney. The culprit, later identified as an Australian teenager, was charged with breaking and entering, trespassing and malicious damage.
