Country singer LeAnn Rimes wed her partner of three years Eddie Cibrian on Friday (Apr 22) in a surprise ceremony at a private property in Malibu.
The pair exchanged vows with 40 guests who thought they were attending a party to celebrate the couple’s engagement which took place in December.
“LeAnn and Eddie were happily married…surrounded by their closest family and friends. They thank everyone for their well wishes,” a spokesperson for LeAnn said. The happily married bride took to Twitter to gush about her special day:
“Eddie and I are overwhelmed by the amount of lovely well wishes. We are blessed and…. I’m Mrs. Cibrian!!!!! So wonderful to wake up as husband and wife. Love to all of you.”
Among the guests were Eddie’s sons Mason (7) and Jake (4) from his ex-wife, Brandi Glanville. The pair split when Glanville became aware of Cibrian’s unfaithfulness with rimes. When asked about her ex, Glanville said back in January: “There is still a lot of animosity, but hopefully, one day, we can move through that and get to a better place.”
At the time of their meeting, Rimes was married to her then husbdand, Dean Sheremet. “I didn’t have the tools to know how to do it the right way, how to let go the right way. I’d never been taught that,” Rimes explained of her marriage to Sheremet a short time ago.
