According to recent reports, rapper Kanye West’s non-profit organization, The Kanye West Foundation, has shut up shop after 4 successful years. The program which helped disadvantaged youth to shine in arts, school and music programs was the late Donda West’s vision.

The New York Times got their hands on an email that was allegedly sent out by the foundations former executive director, Joseph Collins. The message read:

“I am reaching out to let you know that the Kanye West Foundation (kanyewestfoundation.org) has officially closed it doors after a successful 4+ years of programming and events. It has been an incredible experience working with Kanye and the board to realize his mother’s vision and I am honored to have been given the opportunity to lead the Foundation.”

Kanye’s camp has yet to comment on the foundation’s status. When Collins was contacted by phone he also declined to comment and said: “You’d have to get in touch with Mr. West.”
