Although 26-year-old Khloe Kardashian married her 31-year old NBA baller Lamar Odom back in 2009, the youngest of the Kardashian trio is in no rush to pop out a baby.

“I’m not desperate to have a baby,” the reality star told PEOPLE Thursday, while promoting her new E! show Khloé & Lamar, which debuts next month. “Do I want children? Yes. But I’m very happy being just Lamar and I. I think a baby would add so much to us, but right now, I’m so content and so happy with the way things are. People think I would sell my hair to have a child.”

That’s not to say Kardashian would be upset if she got pregnant tomorrow though.

“We feel like we’re young and whatever is meant to happen is meant to happen,” she says. “I’m healthy, I know I can have children. He can have children. It’s like we’re not doing anything to stop it, but I don’t have like an ovulation calendar and all that.

“Trying to get pregnant is hard,” she explains. “People don’t seem to realize that you only have three days out of the month to get pregnant. And if you miss those three days, you have to wait for the next month.”

Meanwhile, Khloe and Lamar’s new reality show, aptly titled “Khloe and Lamar,” premieres on the E! Network on Sunday, April 10th. But until then, check out an extended preview clip Khloe recently posted to her official blog below:
