Pop icon Britney Spears is back with a spanking-new album, and she’s celebrating Vegas style!
The “Oops I Did It Again” singer headed to Las Vegas Friday night (Mar 25) for two surprise shows at the Palms. The concert wasn’t even announced until the day of by Spears herself.
“Looks like my little secret isnt a secret anymore. Whos coming to watch me take the stage TONIGHT at @RainLasVegas at @PalmsLasVegas?” Brit tweeted Friday.
The diva first performed a private show at 8 p.m., followed by a midnight performance open to the public. Britney performed three songs from her new Femme Fatale album at Rain nightclub for more than 1,000 fans who paid $60 a ticket to see her. The singer’s set list included “Big Fat Bass,” “Till the World Ends” and her latest single “Hold It Against Me.”
Pauly D from “Jersey Shore” dee-jayed before her shows, and MTV cameras were filming the shows for a TV special to coincide with her album’s release on Tuesday.
“They’re doing a behind-the-scenes documentary,” a source tells E! Online.
