Being a child with the last name “Smith” seems to be paying off for young Willow Smith.
According to reports the “Whip My Hair” singer is getting help from music mogul Jay Z (who also just so happens to be her boss) for her upcoming musical debut. In a recent interview with Kiss FM, the 10 year old, gearing up for the release of her debut album this summer, said:
“Whenever I have a creative block, he’s always like, ‘Do what artists do when they have a block. Make a song about it”.
The “21st Century Girl” also commented on her meeting with Lady Gaga at last month’s Grammy Awards:
“We were talking about my outfit and her shoulders. She’s awesome!”
Wow… Getting help from Jay-Z on your debut album and getting to meet Lady Gaga at the Grammys, and she’s only 10 years old? Forget a 21st century girl, that Willow Smith is a lucky girl!
