Even though self professed Louis Vuitton Don Kanye West was able to gain some work experience at Fendi and Louis Vuitton in the past, he will not be enrolling in fashion school any time soon.
Rumors began to swirl that the “All of the Lights” rapper had applied to study for a master’s in degree fashion after he was spotted across the pond in the UK at renowned London fashion school Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design last week during London Fashion Week.
But according to reps for the school, Mr. West did NOT submit an application for enrollment, and visited the college on totally unrelated matters.
“Kanye West has not applied for a place on M.A. Fashion at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. He visited the college last week on unrelated matters,” the university’s Press Officer Jo Ortmans told Pop Eater in a statement.
Well, if he did enroll he wouldn’t be in bad company as alumni from the prestigious university include Stella McCartney and the late, great Alexander McQueen. But a man of Kanye’s caliber doesn’t necessarily need fashion school anyway … unless of course he just wants that “official” piece of paper.
