It’s only fitting that America’s most powerful lady leave a lasting impression on R&B’s most powerful diva.

In honor of Black History Month, R&B’s reigning queen, Beyonce was asked to pick someone who she felt influenced her. It should come as no surprise as to what name Bey uttered next:

“Our First Lady, Michelle Obama. She is smart, beautiful, a terrific mother, and a wonderful wife. She proves you can do it all,” stated Bey. (Source)

If you may recall, the Grammy-winning singer performed “At Last” at the Neighborhood Ball for President Obama’s inauguration, and it was reported that the First Lady was seen at one of Beyonce’s concerts with  her young daughters Sasha and Malia.

Obama makes it no secret the amount of admiration she has for the talented singer — even going as far as to exclaim, “I love Beyoncé,” during last year’s “Take Your Child to Work Day”.

(Sigh) Just gotta love it when you see powerful women supporting other powerful women. Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim should really take notes. More so Lil Kim. But you get the point.
