Rapper Wale has found himself a new home….
The DC rapper recently inked a deal with Rick Ross’ Maybach Music. He confirmed the news via Twitter over the weekend.
“The music wont change..the energy will. Can’t wait till y’all hear the new music. and ROCNATION still handles the business! …shoutout to @richkleiman,” Wale tweeted Friday night (Feb 4).
According to All Hip Hop, Wale was originally signed to Mark Ronson’s Allido Records imprint, which distributed the rapper’s debut album Attention Deficit through a deal with Interscope Records.
Since his signing, Wale was given a $44,000 black diamond Cartier watch from the “Boss” himself. Peep the footage below:
