Like most people, Khloe Kardashian is not a fan of the new TSA mandatory patdowns. And the outspoken TV personality talked about how much she hated them on a recent promotional appearance on George Lopez‘s late-night TV show “Lopez Tonight,” comparing the patdowns to “public rape.”
Describing the newly instated security procedure, Khloe said:
“They basically are just raping you in public. I got asked the other day, do you want to go for a screening or get patted down. I don’t want that X-Ray to see everything, honey. But the people are so aggressive. It’s like, ‘Chill out, you didn’t find anything on me yet, calm down. They say, ‘OK, I’m going to be patting you down and I’m going to be touching the crease of your ass.’ That is so inappropriate. And they are so aggressive and forceful.”

Khloe’s comments have stirred a bit of controversy, and advocates for rape victims are speaking out against the youngest Kardashian girl, who they claim was “insensitive” towards real rape victims with her “ill-informed” joke. High profile attorney Gloria Allred is even sharing her two cents:
Allred told Radar Online: “I believe that the word should not be used loosely to describe security measures at airports or at any other place. I think that many victims of sexual assault who have been the true victims of men who committed that violent crime against them and who have been forced to suffer the physical and emotional harm that results from that crime would be insulted that the term would be used in the way that Ms. Kardashian used it.”
What do you think? Did Khloe take it too far by comparing the TSA patdowns to getting raped? Or do those rape victim advocates just have their panties all tied up in a bunch for no reason? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!!
