The first single from Lil Wayne‘s highly anticipated Tha Carter IV album could drop within the next few weeks, according to Young Money president Mack Maine! The track, titled “6’7,” is due for release before the end of the year and will feature a guest appearance up and coming rapper from Cory Gunz, the latest edition to the Young Money crew.

“We definitely dropping it before the end of the year,” Mack told Sway from MTV News. “We ready to go now; we getting it mixed.”
An official release date for the “Tha Carter IV” wasn’t discussed, but Mack Maine had this to say about the project:
“[Wayne]’s talking bananas. Some of the rhymes were actually written in jail. First time you all are gonna hear Wayne write in a minute,” Mack revealed. “He actually sat down and wrote this time. It’s amazing.”
