Kanye West went IN on Matt Lauer and the “Today” show earlier this week on Twitter, accusing Matt of trying to “force” his answers in his interview, which finally aired this morning. Check out the details, along with the video footage from the interview, below…

In the interview, as Kanye is answering questions and attempting to apologize to George Bush for calling him a racist a couple years back, Lauer prompts producers to run a clip of Bush talking about the incident and says to West:

“Don’t even listen this time. I want you to just look at his face…”

West then snapped back and said:

“I didn’t need you guys to play the tape in order to prompt my emotion to what I’m going to say,” the rapper said, clearly irritated. “I don’t have to do TV stuff, with me. This is reality. This is the real thing going on, you know what I’m saying? I don’t need all the jazz.”

Throughout the remainder of the interview, things didn’t let up as Mr. West also popped off at people on the set asking them to be quiet, and when the show ran another another infamous clip (this time, the Taylor Swift incident) an obviously agitated Yeezy got mad once again and stopped in the middle of what he was saying and asked:

“Yo, how am I supposed to talk if you’re gonna run this thing in the middle while I’m talking?”

We didn’t see anything out of the ordinary with this interview. It just looked like Kanye West was being VERY guarded and extra sensitive. Typical Kanye…

Meanwhile, Kanye is set to perform later this month (Nov 26) on “Today.” We wonder if he and Matt will kiss and make up then, or if they’ll still be “beefing” LOL!
