The R&B singer/songwriter and her new husband Swizz Beatz welcomed their first child together into the world Thursday night (Oct 14). And on Sunday, three days after giving birth to her new son, the 29-year-old singer opened up about motherhood in an emotional tweet.

Alicia and Swizz (real name: Kasseem Dean), who tied the knot in a private wedding ceremony this past July, welcomed Egypt Daoud Dean Thursday night in New York City. The little tike joins Beatz’ other three children from previous relationships and is the first for Keys.
“Much love for all the support everybody been showing but I want to shout out my Wife for being bigger then SUPERWOMAN!” Swizz Beatz tweeted a few hours after his wife.
