Sounds like 50 Cent is dead serious about stacking his bread in the film industry!

This week it was announced that the rapper/actor had just completed a deal for his film company, “Cheetah Vision Films,” that will give him $200 million big ones to fund 10 brand new movies, starting with the action movie “Set Up,” which begins shooting next month. Paul Walker is in talks to star alongside 50 in the flick.

“The thing about ’50 Cent’ is that, just like in his music career, he isn’t someone who sits around and waits for things to get done. He came to me and said, ‘How do we move quicker on projects?’ With this new fund, we are able to do that. It’s very hard to raise equity today and we are lucky to have such great partners, including the amazing team of Barry Brooker and Stan Wertlieb of Grindstone and Joe Drake and Helen Kim at Lionsgate,”

Randal Emmett (50’s “Cheetah Vision Films” business partner) told Variety.

Under the deal, each movie will be provided a budget of $20 million and will be distributed by Grindstone Entertainment/Lionsgate.
