Actor/comedian Dave Chappelle caused an emergency landing on a private jet after he started “freaking out” and showing outlandish behavior.
Allegedly, it all started when the 36-year-old comedian refused to buckle his seat belt, and he went into the cockpit multiple times during the flight even grabbing the arm of the pilot at one point. Things became worse, and Chappelle was labeled a safety risk. The plane, traveling from New Jersey to Ohio, had to land in Pittsburgh to resolve the issue with Chappelle. After landing, officials said Chappelle checked into a hotel and attempted to rent a car to go home, but he forgot his own address.
Avoiding rumors before they begin, Chappelle stated that is is not addicted to drugs. Some have blamed his behavior on a stomach illness that he had after eating something that didn’t agree with him. Although a restroom was available, Chappelle didn’t feel they were enough, according to reports.
People have questioned Chappelle’s mental well being since he gave up $50 million and quit his extremely popular TV show, “The Dave Chappelle Show.”
Looks like fame isn’t always an easy thing to deal with for some people…
