R&B singer Kelis insists that she and her ex-husband Nas don’t absolutely hate either other as most people would assume. In fact, the ex couple have become “friends” in the months following their nasty divorce battle. “Everything’s fine. We are divorced, but there is no point to fighting – there is nothing to fight about. I am super happy; my life is awesome. We are friends, we get along now and it’s all good.
“After (the split), everyone was like, ‘You are going through a rough time, you should write something personal.’ I wear my feelings on my sleeve. The hardest decisions are the best ones and for me that was really the case. I am definitely better today than I was a year ago. And I’ll be better next year.”
We don’t know about Nas, but it’d be hard for us to be cool with someone who was trying to wipe our bank account CLEAN and keep us from seeing our kid. Don’t you think? It’s hard to believe that after all that, Nas and Kelis have “nothing to fight about” and “are friends.”
