Wow that’s a lot of people! Above is a group of fans at HMV Westfield Shopping Centre in London all dying to meet one rising singing sensation. But who the hell are they? Continue reading to find out! Hint: They were discovered on the internet and it looks like there’s no looking back now with all of their recent success…

IT’S JUSTIN BIEBER!

The 15-year-old rising pop star met thousands of fans and signed countless autographs at an album signing at a record store in London, England Monday (Jan 18).

According to Wiki, Justin Bieber was discovered on YouTube by a guy named Scooter Braun who ended up being his manager. Braun also landed him a deal with Island Def Jam after he flew the Canadian R&B/pop singer to Atlanta to consult with Usher, who is now a mentor to the young entertainer.

Before releasing the first part of his two-part debut album My World, Justin put out four pre-album singles (“One Time,” “One Less Lonely Girl,” “Love Me,” and “Favorite Girl”) and they all ended being successful, landing in the top 15 of the Canadian music charts and in the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100. This accomplishment made the budding star the only artist in the history of Billboard to have four singles on the charts with no album to support them.

Bieber released part one of his debut album, My World, on November 17th 2009 and it debuted at #6 on the Billbord 200 and sold 137,000 copies in its opening week, which is great considering lots of established artists these days can barely get 90 – 100k their first week. But back at home in Canada, Bieber’s album debuted at #1 on the Canadian Albums Chart and was certified Platinum within a month! And 2 months later it was platinum over here in the United States as well with over 1 million copies sold.

The second part of his two-part album is due to be released in March 2010. The lead single for it was released Monday. Check back later for more info (and possibly a download) of the song!

In the meantime, keep scrolling for more pics of Justin Bieber and to catch a glimpse of his huge fanbase…

Yeah, it’s that big. And the kid’s album has only been out for about 3 months. If he keeps this up, he’s in there!
