With all of the ratchet fun and rowdiness that the cast of “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” brought to pop culture, some might have forgotten all about the original cast from New York that started it all. The trailer for season 3, however, promises to make the New York cast a group to remember.

Gone are Emily B. and Chrissy, and in are Joe Budden, Tahiry, Consequence, Raqi Thunda and Rashidah Ali.

Joe Budden, in particular, seems like a shoe-in for drama and attention. He’s seen spatting with his ex-girlfriend and almost-wife Tahiry, and tearily confessing to relapsing on his drug addiction. It’s sort of like DMX’s story, but with fewer baby mamas and less barking.

The returning cast members, Yandy, Olivia, Erica Mena and Rich Dollaz are still in the building and their struggles haven’t changed very much.

Olivia is STILL trying to get her dead-on-arrival singing career off the ground, and she and Rich go at it over her own failures to hold up her end of the bargain.

Quick poll: Who’s music career is more hopeless? LHHNY’s Olivia or LHHA’s Karlie Redd?
