British songbird Adele recently “set fire” to her critics when she defended her full, voluptuous figure for what seems to be the millionth time by humorously adding sex into the mix.

The singer, who welcomed her first child in October 2012 with 38-year-old beau Simon Konecki, was cited in her recently released biography, simply titled, “Adele: The Biography,” saying:

“I read a comment on YouTube that I thought would upset me, ‘Test pilot for pies’—but I’ve always been a size 14-16 and been fine with it. I would only lose weight if it affected my health or sex life, which it doesn’t.”

Needless to say, we won’t be hearing about Adele rushing to the gym or going on a weird cayenne pepper drink diet any time soon to please the masses.

So, if Adele can accept and love herself exactly the way she is, why are we having such a hard time with it? Let’s focus on what truly matters, her talent, and call it a day.

Adele, go on with your plump self, momma!
