Proud granddad Mathew Knowles — father and former manager of Beyonce — says he loves singing to his newborn granddaughter Blue Ivy Carter.

Knowles — who managed Beyonce’s career up until around this time last year — made an appearance on the UK TV show “Lorraine” to promote his new British girl group From Above when Baby Blue Ivy was brought up.

“Solange, my youngest daughter has Julez, my grandson who I love, he’s seven years old, he’s at school and then there’s Blue Ivy,” he said. “I was with Blue Ivy two days ago, I had her in my arms and was singing a song I used to sing to Beyonce and then after I finished singing the song she kind of went, ‘Ahhhh.'”

Mathew made no mention of his 2-year-old son Nixon, however.

Mathew Knowles’ relationship with his daughter Beyonce is said to now be on rocky terms after he not only cheated on Bey’s mother Tina Knowles, but also birthed a son with the woman, ending his 30-year marriage with Tina.

In the midst of all of this, Beyonce also fired Mathew from being her manager in the months leading up to the release of her latest album “4,” however the singer says the decision was purely business, and not at all personal.

“He is my father for life and I love my dad dearly. I am grateful for everything he has taught me,” Beyonce said in a statement at the time.
