Baby Carter has barely been here for 48 hours and new daddy Jay-Z has already released a new song called “Glory,” dedicated to his newborn daughter Blue Ivy Carter, who was brought into this world officially on Saturday, January 7th 2011 at a hospital in New York City.
In the song, Jay-Z gives a few never-before-heard details about having his first child with his wife Beyonce, including how the couple previously had a miscarriage and how Blue Ivy was conceived right before Beyonce started working on her latest album “4.”
The Pharrell produced track also features a special guest appearance at the end from baby Blue Ivy herself!
The superstar couple have repeatedly denied requests from The Associated Press to confirm the birth of Blue Ivy, so we’re guessing the release of this new song serves as solid confirmation that Jay-Z and Beyonce did, indeed, welcome their first child together over the weekend.
