Game Wants Closeted Gay Rappers to Come Out and “Be Proud” [VIDEO]

According to Game, some of your favorite rappers are closeted homosexuals who need to “be gay and be proud.”

The emcee recently revealed in an interview with Vlad TV that he believes that “several rappers” in the industry are gay, but choose to remain in the closet regarding their sexuality. He said: “Like, Beyonce should’ve said, ‘Who run the world? Gays,’ because they’re everywhere.”

Game also insists he doesn’t have any problems with gay people, but says he does have a problem with men being on the DL, which he believes is the #1 contributor of STDs, like AIDS for instance.

“Be gay, you can do that. Game don’t have a problem with gay people. Game has problem with people who are pretending not to be gay,” he said. “The number one issue with that is that you can be fooling somebody and you could give them AIDS and they can die. So that in the closet shit is real scary.”

While Game didn’t name any names or out any of his peers, he did, however, hint that he’s likely worked with a gay rapper in the past.

“Possibly, yeah,” he coyly confirmed. “And not being just full-out gay, just pretending he loves girls and lives the rap lifestyle, but really he’s a man fan… There’s a lot of man fans out there in hip-hop. I see how you n**gas be looking at n**gas you’re around too. They be looking at n**gas crazy.”

Game may have somewhat of a point, but don’t expect to see your favorite chart-topping rapper to march in the next Gay Pride Parade any time soon.

Do you think there are gay rappers in Hip-Hop?

I understand where The Game is coming from. I don’t have a problem with gays either my problem is those who are closet hiders and for what??? Don’t lie or hide it just be you. I’ve dated women but I’m not into women at all, I was just trying it and I’m not afraid to say I’ve experimented with the same sex from time to time so why are people that love the same sex so afraid to come out, hell gays are everywhere and are taking over so why can’t you be out and about as you please if you are gay???
Who cares if you are a gay singer, actor, rapper, producer, or director??? Make that money and don’t give a F**K what others think about your personal life it’s about business and money making in the industry and even though your personal life is your own why do you have to keep it on the down-low just to have a successful career because you can be bold and openly gay and still be respected.

Yup there most likely is, but they will never come out and say it, maybe if they retire for good they might, but for now their career would take a nose dive.

What does being gay have to do with AIDS? AIDS is a problem whether you’re gay or not. Is Game still living in the 80s or something?

Are you people that ignorant? Obviously they aren’t coming out of the closet because of fear of backlash, alienation, disownment or bullying/harassment. The world is not as nice a place as you all would pretend it is. Kids commit suicide all the time for this very reason. And if you think that the genre as a whole, which has for time been openly discriminatory against lgbt and promotes masculinity through and through… well then you must not really listen to that much mainstream hip hop. It is great that people like Jay-Z have come out to support it, but his support isn’t going to affect his popularity because he is huge. But someone like Frank Ocean? I bet a lot of ignorant folk are going to be all up in arms like it means somethin
