New couple alert?
Celebrity socialite Brittny Gastineau and Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps are secretly dating, according to a brand new report from TMZ.com.
Gastineau (the daughter of former NFL star Mark Gastineau) and Phelps were spotted shopping and spending some QT with each other over the weekend at the Grove in Los Angeles, and as soon as TMZ started filming footage of the pair out together, they split in opposite directions!
A source close to the pair tells us the whole thing is kind of new, but the pair hung out at the Mondrian Hotel on Friday night and were “very cozy.” Then on Saturday, we’re told they hit up a Coffee Bean and did a little shopping … that’s when we caught up with them.
The rumored relationship between the socialite and the Olympic gold medalist has already been met with some controversy, as Phelps’ fans are concerned that if he’s out wining and dining Gastineau, he most likely isn’t training for the upcoming 2012 London Olympics.
Brittny Gastineau (who is BFFs with Kim Kardashian) is best known for starring in “Gastineau Girls,” an E! reality series that ran for two seasons back in 2005.
