According to People, Katy Perry and Russell Brand have tied the knot!
The couple exchanged vows Saturday night in a traditional Hindu ceremony at a luxury resort in India. Pop singer Rihanna and her boyfriend Matt Kemp were among the 85 guests, including other close friends and family, invited to the wedding, however Rihanna and Matt didn’t get to make it due to a scheduling conflict.
Perry and Brand first met last year on the set of a movie and later hooked up at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. A few months later, they were engaged, and now, nearly a year later, they’re officially husband and wife.
